It's a legal drama with a decent cast. The political jabs against Republicans started early on in the season. Then, a storyline started up with one of the lead characters, played by Christine Baranski, being pursued by a Republican. He sends her Sarah Palin's book. She sends him back that mock Palin book that libs made up. Okay, not bad. <\P>
On this week's episode, Baranski sees Palin giving a speech on tv, gets disgusted and turns the tv off. She finally gives in and goes out for dinner with the Republican. She tells him that she can't have a relationsip with him because, "You like Sarah Palin. She's the devil incarnate." This show has declared war on Sarah Palin, and it's been a running theme all season. Needless to say, my husband and I are done with the show.
A powerful network that attempted to throw the 2004 election to the Democrats with ginned up documents just like the Soviets would do.
It STILL has not been revealed just who DID make the forgery.
It's also going to make the reruns incredibly dated 5-25 years from now. They cut their own throat to wage a political battle against contemporary candidates.
Little bashing is right. "I saw Hillary's book on eBay for 50 cents." That's a far cry from calling someone the devil incarnate. It wasn't a joke either. She was almost yelling when she said it. There's no bashing on Law and Order. You're just too insecure.
But don’t you think (as my Dear Hubby and I did) that her tirade made her look really silly? I say the writers have a sense of humor, and the joke was on her character.
