We were positioned to deploy NMD shield to Poland and the Czech republic, now what have we got?
That's the first thing I thought of when I turned on the news this morning.
I don't know how the political system in Russia adjusts to the loss of a leader. I'm sure they have some structure in place to step up but I haven't got a clue as to who that is.

It’s all very suspicious.
Obama shows up in Aghganistan and the next day McKrystal announces that he is taking away fast food comfort from the troops. Then Karzai gets wiggy.
Then Obama goes to Czech republic and signs a “historical” SALT agreement with Putin that gives the US a disadvantage and dooms NMD shield deployment to the post soviet bloc.
Then this news...
