It doth appear so.

Sweet dreams...I’m hitting the hay, too!

Not all Sarah Palin fans are cultists, not a majority of them, not even a large minority of them. However on FR there is an unusually high number of Palin cultists, a higher percentage that the general population of Palin fans.

Care to qualify and differentiate the difference between the two sets of Palin Fans from your point of view?

Well, maybe I'll stay up awhile longer. What does it take for you to consider someone a Palin cultist?

Palin cultists: Unreasonable, cannot accept any criticism of Palin, consider her the new Reagan, way overrate her, come up with stupid excuses to defend her political mistakes including the most fatal of all which is her resignation as a governor of 600,000 people in Alaska only 2.5 years in her first term.

Palin fans: They like her, they love her red meat speeches, but they can accept criticism of her and many of them criticize her when in their minds she is not doing the right thing.

OK, I'll bite.

Show me the Palin supporter on FreeRepublic that has NOT taken Sarah to task on FreeRepublic publically for her support of John McCain?

An affirmative action President elevating for political purpose another unqualified politician in the hope that she will be his opponent in 2012 as unqualified affirmative action candidate like him because he can easily defeat her. It is called a political tactic.

Like defending her 24/7 with the excuse that she owns John McCain a favor. There are plenty of those cultists who defends her all the time and never criticize her and you know many of them as well.

What you fail to see, is that most ALL Palin fans, and even a lot of non-supporters can't accept is unfounded, unsupported, left-wing inspired criticism of Governor Palin.

Your posts and Polybius posts on this thread are perfect examples.

Generally, they tend to be highly emotional, heavily based in extreme hyperbole, and missing in contextual facts as I have already proved on this thread.

another unqualified politician

I'm sorry, man. But to refer to her as an unqualified politician given the savvy and foresight she has demonstrated the last several months makes you look extremely dense. I hope she doesn't run for anything. She's too effective sniping from the hills with pin point accuracy. But you are making yourself look foolish by failing to acknowledge that she's way, way smarter and skilled than she has been given credit for. She's a hell of a lot smarter than you. That's for sure.

No I don't, with the possible exception of one poster who is actually a John McCain shill.

To a man and woman, they have all stated their extreme disapproval with Governor Palin for supporting John McCain.

You keep ignoring facts that get in the way of your diatribe.

And your positions are distortions of reality.

I have stated multiple times how discouraged and upset and how much in disagreeance I am with regards to her position, but I also realize, that it is most probably the case that she is doing this out of loyalty and gratitude.

You may not like that, and you may choose to assume the worst that that is not the case and she actually supports everything John McCain is about, however, her actions, her words, and her sincerity speak otherwise and it takes a real cynical, close-minded person not to see how sincere a person she is.

Only in your mind you think that you proved something. In reality you proved nothing. Palin cannot win the Presidency because she resigned as a first term governor. No amount of excuses that you and others come up with can change this very stubborn political reality and fact.

If you cannot stand that some freepers are bringing this fact then wait what her opponents will do to her on this issue of resignation and how effective they will be. You are in for the political disappointment of your life.

Hmmmm ..?? I didn’t know that.

I’ll check it out. If he did, I’d be very interested in knowing his reasoning behind his vote.

Many FReepers might be surprised to know that a large segment of conservative Alaskans cringe at the thought of a President Palin. I am one of them.

We don’t know her as the great conservative most seem to think she is in the lower 48. Think for a minute, why would reach across the aisle Rino McCain pick her for VP, unless he was convinced she was cut out of the same cloth as he. I believe she is. I see her as a female McCain. Her recent support of McCain, and other Rino like moves she has made, confirms it.

Like McCain, she does have certain political abilities, but like McCain she is also an opportunist. She plays her minority status to the hilt. She plays these cultists you are talking about like a fiddle.

I fear she is going to be a great disappointment to strong conservatives...and an eventual embarrassment to us Alaskans. Despite her recent speeches which might cause one to think otherwise, she is NOT the great conservative many think she is.

No, what is truly sad, is that you are proudly mimicing the talking points of the extreme left and the MSM.

And you can keep pounding this issue as long as you want, but as long as she draws thousands where ever she goes, you're the one that is going to be suffering a lot of disappointment and consternation when your ill-thought out behavior/position is proven so totally wrong.

Have a nice evening, my friend, I'm calling it quits for the evening.

If this is the worst dirt the Libtards and their MSM buds can come up with against her, they are pretty dense. I accept the reasons she gave as it seems most of her Alaskan voters did, too. Obama never finished his senate term and that was even after he vowed that he WOULD NOT RUN for president because he wasn't qualified. Yet, he got elected anyway!

Given Palin’s response to the personal assaults on her (which have increased significantly) since her resignation it is ludicrous to say she couldn't take the heat from her political opponents. She and her family were being driven to financial ruin with no way to defend herself. Period.

She served for a short time as a governor before she resigned her first term and before achieving any real big conservative stuff. It is not about Actions for the cultists, it is about Words, Speeches, Buzzwords, Political Red Meat Rhetoric, and Fighting Words with the Liberal Media. And you wonder how Obama has his own cult on the left. The exact same thing is happening on the right with Palin cult.

Once again, another vague, unsubstantiated with facts/logic post by someone suffering from PDS.

Riddle me this Batman, did Reagan select the MODERATE (RINO) George H. Bush as his Vice President because GHB was a conservative, or did he do it to unite a fractured GOP ahead of the general election of 1980?
