Is It Safe? (Is Weasel Zippers Blog Finally Safe From Virus Attack?)

Is it safe? Like that "dentist" in "Marathon Man" I am asking that question about the Weasel Zippers site. I enjoy reading the Weasel Zippers site but lately I keep getting a warning from Norton that is an unsafe site because of the possibility of virus attack. I believe Weasel Zippers knows about this because a mention was made that it would soon be "safe." I don't want to go there with those warnings popping up everytime soooo....

Is it safe?

A good one, apparently, is Spyware Doctor. It does cost about 40 bucks for a year’s subscription, but it does an “intelli-scan” once a day and a full scan once a week. At least that’s how it works at the office, where it’s installed on top of Mack-A-Fee.

Oil of clove is very good in situtations where someone is trying to determine if it is safe.

Yes, we migrated the site (left all the old data on Typepad) to Wordpress. Norton may still display a warning until their cache clears.

You have no idea what kind of an ordeal this was. I was using Typepad and they refuse to let users into their own database and blog template. I know exactly was tiny string on code was setting off the virus alert (it most definitely was NOT a virus).

We spent an entire week building a new site on Wordpress. We left ALL of the old data on Typepad. Basically we started from scratch. Norton may show a warning for a few more days but if you look at the threats they're posts on the old site.
