To: I still care
This is how the Greek/Romans actually lounged around at meals. I cant remember the time period of when people actually started sitting in chairs at a table. My self exploring hunt was to look for a last supper painting in this tradition by an earlier artist. That is were I got stuck at a possible Mosaic which is thought to be the oldest portrayal of and there was not enough of it left to piece together or some such thing. Again I was on my own lil journey that night.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but would not the women be sitting in chairs behind their men rather than reclining with the men. I am sure that this would be the custom during the time of Tiberius. Rob
