I usually don’t side with deadbeats, but their story has a ring of plausibility. The bank employees are poorly trained and may inadvertently or perhaps intentionally given them bad advice. I hope that the call was “recorded for your protection.” Let’s hear the tape.
Agreed. Throw in the government’s inept forcing of bank/servicers to make loan modifications (FOR POLITICAL GAINS). This is getting insane.
Don’t feel sorry for the banks. They are complicit with the Obama administration. TARP, endless bailouts, etc.
