“Snake Doctor” is the operational callsign of Jonas Blaine, the leader of a Delta Force/ Black Ops military team on the cancelled television series “The Unit”.

I chose it because it sounded good, as a non-obvious tribute to unsung heroes — and because Jack Bauer doesn’t have a callsign.

Snake, I think “Snake Doctor” was also the nickname of Tom Clancy’s character “John Clark” when he was in VietNam...
