Unfortunately, true.

Which flies in the face of what I was taught as a boy growing up in the 50's and 60's, being taught my language and grammatical construction was imperative to being respected, listened to and landing a good job.

Now, all poor grammer does is leap out at my sense of composition, syncopates lingual meter and renders an otherwise intelligent essay just a little less intelligent.

Maybe it's just me ... but that's how I feel.
