I am responding to this post on my iPad. Yes it has shortcomings but so does Obama and look how many people voted for him. Basically it’s like an iPodntouch on steroids but a whole lot more too. I would hate to be a text book publisher or any one else producing dead tree publications. This device is a game killer for them. Great for the vision impaired too. It’s a truly revolutionary product!
I have to agree with you. I had a chance to spend 5 hours playing with a friend’s new iPad on Saturday. As someone who was not going to purchase an iPad, I have to say I was very impressed with what the iPad could do. I may have to reconsider purchasing one, when the 3g version hits the streets.
For many basic tasks, the iPad could easily replace lugging around a laptop. And... the battery life is very impressive.

I'm sure that some will criticize it for not cracking walnuts, but you can't have everything, doncha know ... LOL ...
The iPad won't put a dent in their incomes, but this will.
How much do books cost for the ipad? I end up with a lot of books laying around the house after I finish them.
