it was the models. they need to be tweaked to show that agw results in increases in polar ice as well as decreases.

until, of course, it doesn't.

The heat that would be over the northern hemisphere is sinking down to the southern and melting the antarctic ice. This is proven by a small section of the anarctic that is losing ice. The rest of the antarctic is not really gaining new ice it is just swelling up.

The same swelling may be happening over the arctic as well. I will need 20 million in grant money to study this.
