I read that it was a medicore launch for Apple. outside the big cities there weren’t any lines.

It could be peopler are waiting to spend $600 to feel even more extra special. But I really am having a hard time believing there’s a big demand for this product. But then again they did it with the iPhone. Apple is apple to create demand for their products which is a pretty cool thing.

Apple has take all the innovation and convenience of the iPhone and iTouch and made it enormous and inconvenient (not to mention expensive).

I can only speak for myself, but I certainly have zero use for the iPad.

Yep, they did have great success with the iPhone, and still do. It's only the "nattering nabobs of negativity" that can't believe it ... LOL ...

And as far as "creating demand" -- that doesn't happen. What happens is that a company is good at figuring out "what" the demand is -- and then making the product to meet it.

That's where Apple is far beyond any other company...
