Windows 7 is not only a better OS than Snow Leopard, it has been proven to be more secure to boot. OSX has more security holes than a sieve.
I'm still trying to get anyone that uses Windows to not use any Anti-virus program to see how long it takes before the whole thing is hosed... doncha know ... LOL ... I just can't find anyone... :-)
The Macintosh users ... well... you just can't even get them to use an antivirus program... it doesn't do any good... they just don't need one...
If your “relatives” are as retarded as you are, its a sin to hand any computer to them anyway. They might just put a hammer to it, and just bludgeon the computer into pieces.
Heck there are poor ole Windows users that have to trash their computers with Windows on it, because they can't run their machines any more after a year... LOL ...
They figure it's easier to get rid of it and just buy a new piece of crapware and run it for another year, doncha know ... :-)
You add up the fact that you pay on average 3 to 4 times as much for a mac, as you pay for an equally configured Windows PC, then have to deal with a badly designed OSX with big security holes, plus an Apple mac that the cheap Apple makes from the cheapest components they can get(they know Apple fanatics will buy any junk they give them), then you begin to understand the saying “a fool and his money are soon enough parted from each other”.

But, hey, they've already posted here on Free Republic a comparison and the Macs and the other machines compared with features match up... just ask Swordmaker for that one... he's got the data and he's posted it several times... so there's no problem there.
But, it's typical of the crapware that Windows users have to defend all the time... they just can't get their facts straight... nothing new there... LOL ...
With or without anti-virus, Windows 7 smokes OSX when it comes to security. Snow Leopard has had more security holes than a boat with a bullet riddled botton, left in the middle of the sea.

Yeah..is that why Apple has a very very long list at Apple's home page of technichains who repair all them broken down Apple Macs.
You pay 4 times as much for your computer, only for it to break down a week later.

I have had plenty of feature for feature and price for pice comparisonss between Windows 7 laptops and Snow Leopard laptops at plenty of web sites. It;’s not even close. The Apple laptops are vastly more expensive.
There is reason Window PC’s are selling up to TWENTY times as many units as Apple macs every quarter. Windows PC's are a far better deal. Consumers are not stupid enough to buy overpriced Apple junk. The best judge of any product is the consumer.
