Yes, I saw that the lack of USB ports and the lack of an integrated card reader in an article about them yesterday, and thought wow, they really screwed the pooch on this. So people have to pay extra for a plug-in card reader, sounds just like good old apple.
I mean if you want to port a whole bunch of music files over, or other files you want to browse, pdf’s etc how the hell are you going to do that if they’re on a memroy card? Everytime you’re going to have to haul out the bulky adapter. Extremely stupid.
Maybe by the 3rd generation iPad they’ll have these added in. That and maybe VOIP that works with a nice little bluetooth earpiece.
The iPad has WiFi. Can you transfer the files wirelessly? I don't know the answer, but that would make more sense in a mobile world than plugging devices in by wire.
