Breaitbart’s BIG web sites have the best writing. This is great stuff. I am not a big fan of Shirley B-R-assy though. Did he do all or most of the Bond films?

The one that most people forget about and I think is one of the best is You Only Live Twice sung by...oddly Nancy Sinatra. The melody and tune are exceptional.

Another favorite for me was Garbage with the girl singer doing The World Is Not Enough. They are rock band but the number is very theatrical with a great video too.

Ahh I see where he got loud bits for dramatic effect from Stan Kenton heavy brass. Oddly sampling keyboards, basically sysntheziers/computters, would record sounds and a sounds used heavily is the “orchestra strike” which is what Barry pretty much did during the exciting bits in Bond films.

Barry deserves far more credit that that dreadful man who rubbish like Phantom of the Opera. I cannot think of him name but he has made zillions turning out swill.
