“What more proof do we need now?”
Well, there’s this little matter of hearsay, that is, the wife testifying as to what the husband thinks, not proof of what the husband said. Second, it wasn’t under oath. Third, spouses cannot be compelled to testify against each other so forget putting her under oath. Fourth, home country and homeland are vague terms. As others have pointed out, many think of foreign nations as their homeland or home country, if you will. My own husband considers Germany “the Fatherland” although the last family member born there was his gg-grandfather.
If there is traction to the story, it has to come from sources better than this.
Right, the legal Rules of Evidence need to be applied. But what we have seen here is a good starting point for discovery.

Yes, but Germany is called the Fatherland by many people. That has a special meaning, not necessarily indicative that a person was born there.
That said, what I see here is the continuing mindset by these two that they are at least romantically connected to Kenya, yet they never seem to display much of any similar affection or bond to the U.S. of A.
IOW, I find their mentality as troubling as anything else.
Imagine if Dubya had gone around talking about Ireland (isn’t that his heritage?) or whatever country he had in his heritage as his “homeland” or his “home country.” Would that have set well with Americans? If Bobby Jindal were to become President, say, and then start talking about India as his “home country” or “homeland,” wouldn’t that be just wierd?
It’s just not done. Except by these dopes. And they are the ones already in the middle of a swirl of questions of Obambi’s past as it is.
Charge her with cospiracy to commit fraud based on her statments. Charge Obama too. Discovery should be fun.
