Best lights to have these days are the multi position LED’s. They allow you to have as much or as little light as you need to extend battery power or Opsec.
Better than that are the hand cranked lights.

I have the handcranked ones as well as a last resort and one that is a lamp. For good lighting I prefer the higher lumens but the handcranked are great for backup and a couple even have radios on them.

Most hand cranked lights/radios etc are garbage. Do you know of any really good quality units?
