Do you think the powers that be have each put at least one TRANSMITTER in a Faraday cage in case of EMP? You’d better hope so, or your receiver will just be a nice paperweight.
That’s absolutely true, but I’d just as soon be safe, than sorry. I can’t controll what government does, but I adopt a “be as prepared as possible” mindset.
