I remember him in “Bachelor Father” years ago. His niece lived with him, and he had an Asian butler in that show.

That probably wuold be a politically incorrect show today. An Asian man in a sterotypical role, and a grown man living with his teenage niece? Just imagine the innuendo and jokes that would provoke nowadays.

Bachelor Father followed the adventures of Bentley Gregg, a wealthy bachelor attorney living in Beverly Hills who assumes the responsibility of raising his niece, Kelly (Noreen Corcoran), after her parents die in an automobile accident.[1] Other members of the Gregg household include houseboy Peter Tong (Sammee Tong), teenage neighbor and Kelly’s boyfriend, Howard Meechum (Jimmy Boyd) and Jasper, the dog.

One of my fave shows. That was truly the Golden Era of TV

I remember Bachelor Father as well. I think the niece’s name was Kelley. Can't remember the name of the butler's character. I liked John Forsythe-he was a good actor.

Speaking of un-PC old shows....I have the entire collection of Amos & Andy TV shows on DVD. They are as funny today as they were when I was a kid. Funnier because I appreciate the talent as well as the comedy.
