John Forsythe moved on to some movies..the Glass Web, Captive City and one of my favorites, Escape from Fort Bravo. He also was in a movie that was not only odd for John Forsythe, but also odd for Alfred Hitchcock. It was called "the Trouble with Harry". It's about a dead body that keeps showing up and disappearing again.

Seems I remember a TV show where he and others were held hostage in thier own house due to birds outside. No, I’m not talking about the Alfred Hitchcock movie “The Birds.”
Seems to me this was on TV...and black and white. A long time ago. Anyone recall with me????

Me too. He was a decent guy. I liked him in “The Glass Web’’. Good flick with a tense, edgy feel to it.

I remember Bachelor Father as well. I think the niece’s name was Kelley. Can't remember the name of the butler's character. I liked John Forsythe-he was a good actor.

Speaking of un-PC old shows....I have the entire collection of Amos & Andy TV shows on DVD. They are as funny today as they were when I was a kid. Funnier because I appreciate the talent as well as the comedy.

The “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” episode is called “Premonition” and aired in 1955, the first season of the series.

I’ll drink a bottle of Michelob tonight in his honor.
