The good news is that the unusual-looking fish caught recently in the Mississippi River near Wabasha wasn’t a flesh-eating South American piranha, as had been rumored.

The bad news is that it was a 7-pound red pacu, a second cousin to the piranha and a native to the Amazon basin.

I am thinking that we all came from the sea at some point in time. All one needs to do is to look at early stage development of a human fetus and compare it to a tad pole or many other species. There was a good picture of this floating around here somewhere on the old Darwin threads.
