Trying to catch up on this mornings posts, and I’m reading about the sausage left of Jaycee’s order.
MY pet peeve for fast food restaurants is when you get your order, the fries are barely lukewarm. I only go to Mikey D’s maybe once every two months, and the fries are inedible, unless I stand right at the counter and say I want “HOT” french fries.
Here, the people running the ‘fast-food’ places don’t speak English. I tell them I want the grilled chicken sandwich with no mayo but WITH dill pickles. The guy behind the counter says, “No prah-len”. (problem)
I get my order, and there is MAYO on it. I tell the guy I don’t want Mayo. Again, with a pasted on smile, “NOOoo prah-len!” I get my ‘new’ sandwich, and there is no mayo and ALSO no pickle. I take it back, and tell him “I WANT PICKLE ON THIS SANDWICH!” Again, “NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOO PRAH-LEN!”
A $2 sandwich just isn’t worth a 60% rise in my blood pressure!
I go right to my toaster oven when I bring home fast food...
It never seems hot enough by the time I get home.
OH another pet peeve!!!! No comprehende !!! NO Comprehende!!!!

On that subject I am livid this morning!! Living in the “City of Illegals” I am in a stew learning that several on our City Council want to BOYCOTT AZ!! I want to leave Ca and head to AZ.!!!! I am going to make some not so happy phone calls to those two today!!
Amen and I’m laughing my head off! (“No prah-len”.) And thats what you hear on the telephone these days!
I think every one of those young people at McDonald’s are so called “managers”.....No wonder they get orders wrong...too many wannabe managers and not enough workers.
Once, I ordered a sausage McMuffin (my favorite) and even gave the number from the board menu and when I got home, guess what I got? A dry English Muffin with a dry sausage pattie and thats all. I was mad and went back over there and went inside this time. I first asked for the manager and she came out and I opened it all up to display it for the other customers standing there. The ‘manager’ said “Im so sorry, we have a new guy working back there today.” Can you believe that?

I would rather come home and make a tuna sandwich. Once in awhile, we go to one and then wish we had saved the $2 (more like $6).
