A DOUBLE killer is getting married behind bars after being switched to a women's jail following a sex swap - and falling for a lesbian murderess.
Strangler Douglas Wakefield, 61, has won permission to get hitched in the prison chapel.
Lags will be guests at the civil partnership ceremony as the beast - who underwent a taxpayer-funded "gender reassignment" and is now called "Tai" - recites vows with mum-of-three Thelma Purchase, 45, a fellow lifer.
It follows another "wedding" earlier this month at New Hall Prison near Wakefield, West Yorks - of killers Amanda Fitzpatrick and Debbie Ware.
Fitzpatrick, 25, was jailed for life for the murder of her brother-in-law with scissors and lesbian Ware, 31, stabbed a shopkeeper in a robbery.
Last night a furious MP blasted the prison nuptials.
Tory Philip Davies said: "It is incredible this can be allowed. The criminal justice system is becoming a joke."
Wakefield was caged 36 years ago for strangling his uncle, beating him with a hammer and stabbing him 48 times with a garden fork in Gipton, Leeds.
The father of two became notorious as one of the most dangerous MEN in jail after killing an inmate at Parkhurst and twice taking prison officers hostage.

Goes to show, there’s someone for everyone.
You know, it’s only funny satire when it is at least believeable....who would believe we spend taxpayer money to do sex changes for murderers, then make all their dreams come true with a wedding ceremony. Sheesh...
It would have been far cheaper to hang the both of them.

I had to read that headline several times
with my lips moving
And I thought “I’m a lesbian trapped in a man’s body” was just a joke.
Give them the same cell to share and plenty of sharp object to have around during arguments between the two and let nature take it’s course.
The perfect venue for such a union of freeks.
So which one is the “groom” and which one is the “bride?”

I’m sure they will be on the presidential pardon list.

They will make a fortune from Hollywood’s bids for the movie rights to their story.
