Go to Apple.com and watch how their pages load. Now go to any site that uses Flash for similar content. There is no question: Flash is smoother and faster than HTML5. Hands down.

The irony is that Apple, the most vocal promoter of HTML5 because of their hatred for Flash, has a web site that is a PIG in Safari or Internet Explorer.
