My gut feeling has always been that Sarah needs voice coaching. This is not the days of Abe Lincoln or FDR where unusual voices do well in politics.

I don’t want her sanitzed but there is a reason certain voices are hired for newscasts and such. Attractive people with nice voices are simply more likely to be popular.

Her voice is too high pitched (lower tones denote strength and authority - especially important with a woman) and she should definitely speak a touch slower.

She definitely needs a speech and voice coach. With a good teacher, she would be able to lower her voice a bit. There are exercises that would help.

I agree that she should not shout so much and should speak more slowly. As far as speaking goes, she is an Eliza Doolittle. Maybe practicing with marbles in her mouth would help!
