Truth is you can have the dulcet oratorial tones of Nancy Graham and Barry Obama and the like. The honey coated voice is of no interest to me. You want to be charmed like a snake is charmed by the flute player. Go ahead be charmed. I want authenticity and principled messages
TLM, If you read post #19 you might find that authenticity and a principled message are enhanced by refined speaking skills. Any woman with a high-pitched voice is going to have trouble on the campaign trail. That’s just a simple fact.
If Sarah Palin can get some good coaching and improve her delivery, what’s wrong with that? Doesn’t make her message any less authentic or principled, but does make it more effective.
