I remember being in the military during the Viet Nam war, and the faces of the “liberals” and the slurs they spewed. Then I also remember the Republican convention in 2008, and how the “liberals” vandalized the delegates cars, sprayed bleach in their eyes, and yelled slurs and venomous attacks on the delegates. I remember in the 2004 election how the “liberal” vanadalized campaign offices, the “liberals” who broke into one and beat up the women working in it, and they 3 that “liberals” shot the windows out of them. And the press was silent about this abuse.

I find it hypocritical that most Left/Liberal commentary on Right Wing expressions of violence and hatred SKIP RIGHT OVER the Liberal anti-war anti-government demonstrations of the late 60s and 70s to align itself self-righteously with the Civil Rights movement.

Like the Tea Party movement, the rebellion of the 60s/70s was on the whole peaceable - far messier, but peaceable - yet was also characterized by subgroups espousing and practicing violence, with similar over focus on that by the media.

But I will call out the violent extremists on the Right in their hypocrisy as well, as they most closely resemble what they espouse to despise: Bill Ayers and the WeatherUnderground and the extremists of the SDS.

You can’t have it both ways. Violence is not the answer.

It’s now taboo to be “angry.” Unless someone disagrees with your “right” to use abortion as birth control, or believes that anthroplogical global warming is a myth, or that guns are evil, or that, or that, or that...

“If Brown [Scott Brown (R-Mass.)] can’t stop it, a Browning
[high power weapon] can.”

I do NOT advocate violence at this point.
But as former Rep. “B-1” Bob Dornan had to remind Maxine Waters
in the House of Representatives...the Second Amendment is NOT about hunting.
It’s about reminding our elected officials that if they go too far...
there are many armed citizens.
And that even if they don’t go on the offensive, they very well put
up resistance if shock troops are sent to their homes for non-compliance
with a very questionable extraction of funds from average citizens.

Tea Party members, as with their forerunners who showed up at the University of Alabama and Central High School, behave as they do because they have been culturally conditioned to believe they are entitled to do whatever they want, and to whomever they want, because they are the "real Americans," while all who don't think or look like them are not.

...today's Tea Party adherents are George Wallace legacies.

And they dare call us racists?
They dare accuse us of instigating hatred?
What a POS this author is. My opnion is not based on the color of his skin, but his lack of character revealed by his own words.

LEARN HOW TO USE SAUL ALINSKY’S RULES FOR RADICALS AGAINST THE DEMOCRATS.

Don’t lash back . . . RIDICULE back. Make them live up to their standards.

This article makes my blood boil. It’s a use of rhetoric and color that is so mean-spirited, a Tea Party Patriot would not consider using it. THAT’s why we MUST use the Alinsky tactics back at them.

2. “Never go outside the expertise of your people”.

When Lies are your stock in trade, Going ‘outside the expertise of your people’ means being truthful and honest. Saul knows that the Statists can never attain power if they do that.

Saul’s advice is that the Statist’s need to stick to this area of expertise and never get pulled into the realm of facts and logic and instead Lie, obfuscate and deceive. Conservatives know that the truth is on their side, We conservatives have no need to go outside the truth and into the Statist’s realm of Lies, nor do we have any desire to. The Statist’s have to lie because it’s all they have.

3. “Whenever possible, go outside the expertise of the enemy”.

For the Statist, this means assaulting Conservatives with Double standards and lies. It means spewing an outrageous Lie at a Conservative, and quickly following up with another big lie while the Conservative is refuting the first Lie and so on. It means overwhelming the Conservative with rhetorical BS as a way of silencing the Conservative.

We Conservatives know that with the facts and logic on our side, we can win any argument with the Statists as long as it is a fair venue. The Statists can only win if the deck is stacked in their favor and their lies aren’t challenged. They can only win when they are the Only voice or possible if it’s ratio of 5 Statists against one Conservative.

4. “Make the enemy live up to its own book of rules.”

Given that Statists seemingly have no moral code, this would appear to be a good tactic for them. But in reality, they do have ‘rules’ – rules they want everyone else to live by, but not themselves – Statist’s are nothing if not hypocrites.

Therefore, we Conservatives should insist that the Statists ‘lead by example’ – live by their own set of stupid rules and admonitions.

5. “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon”.

Aren’t Statists supposed to be fair minded and only have good intentions, always whining about Social justice and other types of PC crapola? This one readily illustrates that they are just duplicitous liars.

Given what we all know about them, maybe it’s not such a work of genius to propose this as a tactic, seeing that Conservatives can easily turn this against the Statist – and have lots of fun doing it.

Lies, Double standards and deceptions are not only easy to ridicule but enjoyable to demolish. Conservatives are confident in their beliefs and in the truth. Unfortunately, we have to keep on doing this because the Statists constantly repackage their lies and ideas with different terminology – same excrement in a different bag.

8. “Keep the pressure on”

Just like the anaconda, squeezing the life out of its prey, Statists always have to maintain pressure to squeeze the Liberty and freedom out of a society. But an important distinction here is that Statist’s require the productive to fuel their vote buying revenue stream. Before they can seize full control of a society, Statist’s still require the good works of the very people they demonize – achievers and producers. They have to demonize the tax Payers (note the emphasis on ‘Payer’)– the people who actually contribute to society – in order to justify seizing their wealth.

This is important because it gives Conservatives a way to fight the Statists. As Statism wraps it’s slimy coils around a societies freedoms and liberties, it’s achiever’s and producers will either escape or gradually halt their efforts. This is why these systems invariably fail and are eventually replaced with free societies, but only at great human cost.

We conservatives can stop this cycle dead in it’s tracks if we advocate achiever’s and producers going on strike for short time periods as an act of ‘civil disobedience’ – as the Statist would say.

Alexander Tytler said that a democracy can only exist until people discover that they can vote to seize other’s people money. The corollary to that is that the crushing of a free society by the Statists can be halted if the achievers and producers refuse to cooperate with their very destruction.

11. “If you push a negative hard and deep enough, it will break through into its counterside”.

Besides the idiotic new age gibberish, this tactic highlights the Statist’s head’s I win, Tails I win method of governance.

This is exemplified by the phenomena that the Statists always come out on top – even when it is their ideas that screw things up. To them, the answer is always more government, even when the problem IS the government, so they think they can’t lose.

13. Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it.”

This seems to be the Statist’s favorite tactic – mercilessly go after individuals that oppose their collectivist aspirations. These are the people that always set themselves on a pedestal as the fairest minded, tolerant and only seeking justice, yeah, sure.

Tactic #5: “Ridicule is man’s most potent weapon”, and this one should be an abject embarrassments to the radical left; instead, they proudly promote and teach these hideous methods.

Remember: The aggressor sets the rules, and according to Saul Alinsky, you should always attack an individual with ridicule and never let up. Something to always to remember about the Statists. Aside from the fact that they are consummate Liars, this is the most important lesson Conservatives can learn from these tactics.

Generally consumed with Hatred of individuality and individual freedoms, Statists are vicious little snotweasels (just following your lead, Saul) that couldn’t tell the truth if their life depended on it. Conservatives need to deal with them accordingly.

Paraphrase: There is a time for every season and every purpose under heaven.

I agree that we need to use the tactics that the left uses against us, short of the violence they provoke.

Chanting slogans germane to the situation (i.e., “Read the bill. Kill the bill. Listen to what we say., etc) should be the only thing we should be about.

If there is one that does any of the provocative acts (profanities, racial slurs, etc.) it is the duty of those near that one to shout that down as vociferously as possible. We must police ourselves. Isolate the hatemongers, extremists and infiltrators that dilute the sincerity of our message. Shout louder than the vulgar proponents and shout at them.

Vote like your life depended on it because it probably will. Find a candidate that supports 1)line item veto (defunding everything and every entity not specifically granted to the Federal government in the Constitution), 2)balanced budget (you cannot spend what you do not have—no more deficits, set asides, earmarks, off budget items), and 3) the Fair Tax (a guaranteed fair and equitable increased revenue stream to begin to pay off the National Debt). Once you find that candidate, burn yourself out in supporting them with as much time, energy and financial support as you can.

There’s nothing racist about the Tea Party movement. It’s a delusional stretch for this guy to compare them to segregationists. Being angry does not mean that you are racist. This author apparently believes that they are racist, because he says so.

I like to remind such scoundrels that ultimately, out of all the Dixiecrat politicians opposed to segregation, only one, Strom Thurmond, became a Republican. The rest remained Democrats to their dying days.

Of course they say I’m lying, being scoundrels, so I prove it:

I think it’s predictable, given the political motivation of the people spouting it. Don’t let them intimidate you, and don’t let them divide us. If you have done nothing, you have nothing to apologize for. Let Mr. King be responsible for every whacko who claims they’re doing something for civil rights.

These Democrats stories are designed to taunt tea party and conservatives in the hopes of inciting and emotional response that results in someone committing an extreme violent act in public where it can be replayed and replayed.

At that point, they can declare the tea party terrorists and stamp out their speech even if the guy that did it isn’t a member of the tea party and just another wing nut.

I suspect though, if they keep it up, that one of two things will happen. A clean sweep in the elections or a civil war or both when who ever is elected doesn’t repeal the bill.

I am afraid we are heading towards a 3rd world country where there will be ingrained civil strife for generations. This bill was the catalyst, we need to undo it’s damage to society.

Well, sir, it looks like you Tea Party types are learning a harsh political lesson. In politics, what you stand for counts for a lot less than how people perceive you. And on that count, the MSM is handing you your collective rear end.

This is what comes of political organizations that actively spurn any sort of coordinated direction, which is something that the Tea Party folks themselves proudly admit. What that means, though, is that the only folks out there who have the means to shape public perception of the Tea Parties, are its opponents.

It's the easiest thing in the world for them. You're angry -- justifiably so -- but that's all that anybody ever sees. You haven't got anybody who can stand before the media as the face of the Tea Parties and explain exactly what you're angry about, and what you intend to do about it. And I don't believe you really can, because it appears that you have no clearly-agreed definition of what the Tea Parties are really about, aside from "being opposed."

Political energy is a fine thing, but it's never enough to have energy. Undirected political energy can be used by anybody who can channel it, including opponents. Here we see an example of a very successful campaign by the left to use the political energy of the Tea Parties to their own detriment.
