Set up an electric grill on the porch to make sweet bread mix into waffles. Set up a barbecue for meat and vegetables. Burn some wood in an outdoor fireplace for ambiance and add baked potatoes and sweet potatoes to add a “cooking food” justification. Then offer all the neighbors over for free food. Any liberals cannot contest to carbon usage because it is to make food and it’s free.
Use the time to set up a neighborhood watch. Anyone so motivated to sit in the dark at home should not be part of your group.
