Now is the time to get educated. Most people don’t even know how the process works and are fearful because they have been misled to believe they can’t control it.

And to Woebama, you mention you have respect for the Founders but can’t find enough leaders like them today; not enough Sarah Palin populists etc. And I told you the the original convention had mostly people from the towns and countryside and the leaders you spoke of were very few in number.

But think about this. The Founders gave you the Constitution and explicitly gave you the power to do an end run around the President and the Congress through Convention. Why would they do that?

Did they not know the weakness and debasement of the human character? Yes, they knew it very well. So why did they leave the power of convention to the People? And especially in a way that it left states and not population in control?

For example why would they leave sparsely populated Alaska with the same power as Illinois with its liberal power in Chicago?

The Founders knew there had to be a final means to save the Republic.

And the good news is that conservatives have the power in the countryside which means they have the power in conventions. Very few people have lost sight of this but the Left knows they are finished if conservatives wake up to this power. So look for a barrage from trolls on blogs and forums that try to discourage anyone from learning more.

Small states like Delaware, Rhode Island, Vermont as well as Alaska and Montana . . . I hear what you are saying and it’s a good point, but there is a great deal of danger in starting a process guaranteed to get rid of our current Constitution for good.
