Jeff Katz to host morning show on new conservative talker
Former WRKO-AM (680) radio host Jeff Katz has been tapped to host the morning-drive show on Boston’s new conservative talk radio station, WXKS-AM (1200).
BOSTON, MA – March 23, 2010 – Boston’s new conservative talk radio station, “Rush Radio 1200” WXKS-AM has announced the addition of a new local morning show.
Jeff Katz will begin hosting the weekday morning show, 5am to 9am, on Monday, April 5th. Katz has extensive experience as a talk show host in Boston. He has most recently been a consistent fill-in host for WRKO’s Howie Carr, while hosting afternoon on WFTL-AM in West Palm Beach, Florida. Jeff Katz also hosted the WRKO morning show for several years in the late 1990’s. Katz has hosted award winning talk shows at radio stations in Philadelphia, San Francisco, and Las Vegas.
Jeff has made countless television appearances on such programs as The O’Reilly Factor, Hardball, Showbiz Tonight, Daily Buzz and American Morning. Over the years he has guest hosted on many national radio shows including Glenn Beck, Jim Bohannon, Bob Grant, Rusty Humphries and Mike McConnell among others. Jeff Katz has also filled in on many of America’s best radio stations including KFI (Los Angeles), WIOD (Miami) and KLIF (Dallas).
