The last time the Society of Actuaries published mortality statistics for male homosexuals (which I believe was in the mid-1980's) the life expectancy for a male homosexual was age 45, and this is based on mortality statistics collected primarily pre-HIV.

I maintain that the homosexual life-style should be viewed the same as smoking. Neither behavior should be legitimized. The best reason for rejecting the normalization of homosexuality is that it is a behavior that's more dangerous than smoking.
