Romney is not a conservative...FR at it's core supports conservatives as well as a Constitutional Gov't...That's the way I see it, and support it...

Likely it is because Romney is already campaigning as if it were 2012. If the Stupak-like Romney is allowed to build up too much momentum, things will get even worse.

Take it up with JimRob, our Founder doesn't like Mitt Romney, and if Mitt-Witt thinks he's going to waltz his way to the nomination, he can check with former Mayor of NYC Rudy-Tooty about that. FR was instrumental in derailing RINO Rudy and you can take that to the bank.

I wasn’t a Romney supporter outside of the few weeks it was either him or McCain, but as you can see here attacking Giuliani and Romney was more important than defeating Obama.
As you can see, it’s done wonders for us. Free Republic is a great site because of its contributors, not its owner.

Romney is a flip-flopping, gun-grabbing, gay-loving, culture-of-death-supporting, big-government-implementing, anti-liberty statist RINO. In other words he is exactly the type of son-of-a-bitch who is anathema to what Free Republic stands for, and if you come on the forum you will learn about his statist record.
There are a few Romney supporters who wish to gloss over his socialist record and jam him down our throats because of the orgasm factor (he has good hair and they have sexual fantasies about him). Others, who push the turd, just lack core conservative convictions and follow whoever sounds good at the moment.
For those of us who have conservative core convictions: Piss on Romney and ANYBODY who enables him.
