Even more amazing to me are the idiots who bring their dogs to our local park, where signs abound that dogs must be leashed, but they allow their dogs to run around anyway. I was walking one of my labs (leased, of course) several weeks back when I witnessed an unleashed Pit Bull attack a leashed 10 year old Lab who did nothing to provoke the attack. The owner of the Lab used a stick she happened to have with her to pry the dog’s jaw open in order to get her dog released. Fortunately the Lab didn’t resist and didn’t suffer any major injuries. But, what if that was one of the many three to five year old children playing at the park that day? Stupid people.
Serious question: if you use a stick to poke the pit bull’s eyes out, will that induce it to release more easily?
