One of the Rules of Ownership I got drilled into me is “Never trust your pit not to fight”.
He’s always supervised, and I seperate them when we leave the house, even though he’s never given me any worry aout the chihuahua.
They remind me of a rhino and a tick-tick bird; brawn and brains. They’re good dogs.

My bulldog owner’s handbook which I actually read...says same as you did.

Our last Dog...a big red Dobie with security training..coulda cared less about other dogs but he hated cats and was very very wary of strangers.

our bulldog is so far much less wary of people...

he loves to play tug of course and my kids clothes show it...a habit I am trying to break now before he gets too big...120 pounds or so at maturity at 2-3 years

man he loves to run...and pounce on moles...I let him run our little back pasture in late afternoon and he can really move...i do carry a lead just in case
