She was a hold out, and a mangy blue dog democrat.
Yesterday there was a protest at noon, tons of people drove by her office honking their horns. A real disruption to the neighborhood.
She has been quoted as saying she was not going to be intimidated by the “right wing.”
I knew she would vote yes, as she did when the bill was first up. She would say during her townhall meetings, she was considering both sides of the healthcare bill, then proceed to list all the reason it made sense to her.
High Hewitt has mentioned her a couple times as being on the fence. I don’t think she ever was. The Tea Party movement is very strong here in the Old Pueblo, and she is a complete sellout.
Two words: Jesse Kelly.

I still say we need to hold on to that check to pay taxes. Screw them.
Just goes to show you that there are no “blue dog” rats, once a rat always a rat. But this is what people voted for and they’re getting it in spades. Hope and CHANGE, well it is definitely a change, for the worse!
