Yes, I learned about that from a former boss. Apparently the division is as deep in New York and Boston as it is back in Ireland.

Hard to believe that only three distilleries are currently operating on Erin's Isle.

Ah, but it goes back to before things were divided - Bushmill’s is the oldest licensed distillery in the world. And I do not plan to be in NYC on this date anytime soon. I have been in Dublin on St Patty’s day, though in Ireland generally it is a religious day, and special services are held in honor of the patron saint.
