It’s actually the opposite. The progressives have gone so far off the deep end they’ve left the Republicans and Independents far behind.

Matthews Casts GOP as 'Narrow, Little, Nasty Don't Do Anything Party'

In other words "they are earning their pay"...

Even the softie Rockefeller Republicans would puke on Obama and his government takeover of health in the US.

If Hissy Matthews is pissed, then it’s a good for America.

Matthews definitely knows "nasty". The puke wallows in it every day.

Will feel great once we take back our government and send this guy out to slop the hogs.

Then we hang him.

Well, if it is un-Constitutional, socialist, fascist, takes away from personal freedoms and liberties... In short, if it is un-American and anti-American well then {expletive}-YES! Call me do-nothing!

I’m not sure I disagree with Chrissie’s analysis. In the years it had power, what did it do to stem the encroachment of leftist ideology into the fabric of the nation? How can I view legislative initiatives like No Child Left Behind or Medicare D as a return to the founding principles of the nation? All the Republicans have done in my lifetime is fill the public trough more slowly than the Democrats, like cheap imitations. Dole and McCain...No wonder they can’t hold power.

If opposing Fascism is "narrow" and "nasty", then I'm one narrow and nasty bastard. I would not expect Der Tingle to understand, for he's almost as in love with his own reflection as President Obamanarcissus.

Matthews, along with Democratic Representative John Larson of Connecticut, also wistfully pined for the days of a less combative GOP...

I remember those days. That was when Tip O'Neill would let Bob Michel caddy for him
