Well, after Sam Mendes gets his hooks into the franchise, there's a decent chance that will be true. But, I thought Craig, especially in Casino Royale, was the best Bond since Connery.
Craig played the character believably. There wasn't the cutesy banter that became insufferable in the last dozen Bond movies.
