I know ... mixing Airplane I and II.
I can’t help but laugh at many episodes of Mission Impossible simply due to Airplane. Not laugh “at” since I like the show overall. It’s just that Graves, on occasion, may say something in MI that could easily be taken in an Airplane context if you know what I mean.
It’s kind of like watching older movies where Leslie Nielson or Lloyd Bridges are playing characters and acting far too serious (The Poseidon Adventure and Rocketship XM come to mind for those two men).
Seriously, we all can hopefully agree that Peter Graves “surely” leaves behind a fine body of work for all of us to enjoy.
