A pair of screech owls have been nesting each spring for the past several years in a wood duck house next to our garden pond - voila, the rabbit & squirrel population has decreased dramatically.

The barn owls in our neighborhood (we have lots of trees and live next to undeveloped farmland) must be lazy - hear them all the time but they can’t keep the rabbit population down. After what the rabbits did to my garden last year I’m thinking seriously about getting a good pellet rifle.
