I'll spare you my opinion of this deal 'cause it doesn't really matter anyway.
I'll say that I haven't watched this video and I'm not going to.
If it's true that another school, particularly another school in the conference is working behind the scenes in this deal then things have gotten way out of hand in the conference.
I've heard people say that some in the conference are more equal than others. I started wondering about it myself at last season's championship game. (Again, trying to keep my opinion out of it 'cause it doesn't matter and my team wasn't in it anyway.)
Now this. If it's true it's just dirty.
From what I understand, this is how these videos came about:
Tech videotaped these speeches
Texas used the Freedom of Information to get the videos, then delivered them to ESPN
Definitely looks like there was an effort to make Leach look bad by more than just ESPN. Im sure Mack Brown has never sworn twice (as adjectives to describe someone, not directly at someone) in his locker room.
The moral is, in college football coaching today, you are a robot, or you will be taken down.
This is quite common actually. The SEC is full of this kind of subterfuge.
