Okay, so now we have to cancel events for everyone so we don’t offend the sensibilities of a few????????? And so the school district doesn’t go broke defending the expected lawsuits????????

Upside is that this move will save parents a lot of $$ outlay for dresses, hairdressers, & tuxes.

It’s to bad that the few, sometimes as little as 1 or 2 can ruin it for everyone else. Isn’t that called spite?

In other words, this lesbo wannabe single-handedly trashed the local economy just because she wanted to pretend to be “different”. This is great stuff. I applaud the school district for not playing the game with her and the aCLU. They threw the ball back into her court. Now, she can live with it. I don’t think she’s going to be very popular around town for a while. LOL!

I can tell you, the kids are going to be madder than a wet hen. Many will take it out, either on the school, the parents, or this girl and her family.

Or -- if the parents still want their darlings to go to a prom, they can get together and organize one on their own -- setting their own rules -- with no school involvement whatever.

Maybe if parents did this everywhere this problem existed, schools would realize that they are losing control of the process, and might be a little less tone-deaf to the sensibilities of the majority. Or not. It really wouldn't matter then what the school did, would it?

ITA with the school. And to the homosexuals- don’t expect everyone to support your disorder.

My guess is that a Lesbian in Jackson, Mississippi was not exactly president of the student activities council to begin with.

I’m glad the school canceled it rather than letting flaunt her deviance. All the kids will know whom to blame.

Can’t wait to hear alll the whining and belly aching about how all these nasty students are looking mean at this “Couple” because they were only doing what they had the right to do.

While they are not blameless the main blame is the people who canceled the prom due to lack of guts.

They could have said yes or know but they took the cowards way and made no stand and ruined it for everyone.

Gutless cowards

Heh heh heh. At least she got the publicity she was looking for. I think it’s a waste of her “fifteen minutes” to pull this kind of crap but whatever blows her tuxcedo up.

That is Job One for school districts today -- avoiding lawsuits at all costs.

The silly girl THOUGHT she could FORCE the school district to allow her to “make a statement” about her homosexuality.

Congratulations to the School District. They refused to give into extortion.

The school didn’t have to cancel. Ignoring folks is a good way of dealing with people too. Hold then dance and ignore the couple whom you don’t like anyway.

This is just silliness
