Unfortunately for the other students, the school did the right thing. Allowing this type of dysfunctional behavior would send a message to the other students that it's normal and acceptable. Bad company corrupts good character.
It's too bad all the other kids had to suffer because of two losers who simply want to flaunt their freakishness.
I hope the other kids remember what these two did to them. They'll grow up and be the next group of voters some day.

They'll grow up and be the next group of EMPLOYERS some day. Connie and her girlfriend might as well pack and leave now. Their life in that community is over. Twenty years from now, people won't have forgotten who wrecked Senior Prom.

And parents can host/chaperon all sorts of off-site proms and students can attend or not based on their freedom of association.

I don't have a date for the prom yet.

I am not sure I agree. All their doing is compounding one mess with another.
Personally I would let this girl and her girlfriend come, to call it off to the detriment of the other students just causes other problems. God forbid someone ends up hurt because of the fallout.
