This article is about papaya leaf and not fruit and I don't know what are the respective benefits.

I dunno... people could grow their own Papaya and THEN what would the drug companies do?? They could always ask John McCain to sponsor a bill ensuring extensive FDA regulation of the papaya, including banning all homegrown papaya due to, oh, I don't know, say, a fabricated global salmonella outbreak.
