Your comment is a false conclusion. I said nothing about any laws. I merely responded to a ridiculous question by someone who doesn't know the difference between a fist fight with pads on and someone driving a race car into another car intentionally.

Your comment about the number of injuries is another example of illogic. It is not the number it is the risk.

You can talk about risk all you wish. The fact is that hockey fights happen much more than intentional car crashes. But given the HANS device, roll cages, track safety features, helmets, fire suits, etc... I might be more inclined to take my chances in a race car than standing on skates squaring off against some hockey goon with zero head protection while standing on ice.
