Nobody denies that Iraq did not comply with the requirements to verifiably eliminate WMD in the cease fire agreement that ended the first Gulf War. This was the basis for UNSC 1441, which approved military action to enforce these requirements.

Whether or not WMDs existed is not the point. The point is that the Hussein regime was not complying with the requirements of the cease fire.

I thought we found about 200 tons of yellowcake uranium in Iraq, and towards the end of Dubya's administration it was transported quietly to Canada. I know the major media outlets downplayed it, but I'm pretty sure that happened.
