Why was a founding member of the FreeRepublic LLC 501(c) board banned by a modmin/admin who is no more than a volunteer sitting at home on a ego trip?

How many thousands of archive pages were just fractured due to this foolishness?

Not only should a full explanation be given to the public, the admin who approved this measure needs to be publicly named, and publicly defend the position.

THis is the most abject failure of the modmin system that John Robinson devised in the history of FR since the rebuild in 1999.

If the admin powered individual was anyone other than current or former formal members of the LLC, the admin must be removed from the admin level and any admins who want to defend that admin should also make themselves publicly known and defend their position.

This banning is an indictment on the failure of the admins of this website. That is putting it politely.

Chili in San Antonio doesn’t even have any chili in it. It’s just a big glop of three different kinds if meat mashed together. With Fritos.

I can not bear the smell of Fritos when pregnant.

But for all the trashy bagged snacks, they are the only one with only three ingredients, each one pronounceable.

FR is a pro-God, pro-Life, pro-gun, pro-Liberty, pro-Constitution, pro-America conservative site. Country club RINOS who can’t handle that can KMA!

Very well stated; thank you!

Anyone know why the post preview changes double and single quotation marks to question marks?

"?" Works fine for "me". It must be your "Blackberry".

Could you make a Frito pie crust, then add the chili, and bake it?

In a word.. no.

Chili (no beans!) over Fritos, toss shredded cheese on it.

Bam, you're done. I can't imagine never having experienced Frito pie!

The cultural wasteland that some folks put up with. Mmmm mmm mmm.

Wow. 500+ replies. Impressive. However, most of the replies seem to be about frito pies and such. People seem to have missed the point. Assuming there was a point.

LOL An accurate example of a meal for me is boiled chicken and steamed vegetables, maybe some soy sauce over it.
I will though seek out and enjoy a cup of 'Frito pie' when in SA.

Wow. A coalition of discussion with those who do not like Gov Palin is being “unequally yoked together with unbelievers”?

One of the main criticisms of Palin is that her supporters are too much into the cult of personality. Not doing much to allay that impression there.

It isn't about being “righteous” or “unrighteous”.

I support Gov. Palin for the GOP nomination, but those that oppose her nomination are not being “unrighteous” or “unbelievers”.

What the HELL is wrong with being a housewife?

I would be embarrassed if my mother heard me using the term “housewife” as an epithet.

What three types of meat? I recall seeing goat on a few menus when last there. I’m going to try it in Apr.
