When my brothers and I were young, this is how we fed the cats when milking on the farm. We (and the cats) got pretty good at it.

Stat or no stat, it could transmit the disease if you have an open wound, or if it enters the eye.

Would you be willing to be a guinea pig to ascertain the risk?
