Texas has this leetle problem with false convictions and fradulent prosecutions. Not that that's what the judge cited in this case, but Texas's track record for fair trials isn't all that good.
I'm not in the mood for being lectured by someone from a state that sent Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins to the US Senate.
I resent your broad brush implication that Texas doesn't conduct fair trials. Have mistakes occurred? No question. However, given the population of Texas vs. a small and homogenous state like Maine, I'd like to see statistical comparisons before making further generalizations.
