One day, your cell phone may be able to read your lips.

It will be soundless communication.

German researchers at the Karlsruhe Institute of

Technology say the software will enable people to move

their mouths silently - but the person on the other

phone will hear words.

The process is based on the principle of

electromyography.

Cool picture of how it works.

I wonder if this will get loud people on cell phones

to "shut-up" so to speak in restaurants etc..

There is an app that is a fake lie detector.

As you turn it toward your kid, you push the secret button in upper right corner. Then they pt their finger on the place indicated, and tell their story. When they move their finger off the screen it says “LIE!”,(or “truth”, depending what you had pre-selected).

My 10YO Grandson doesn’t want to get anywhere near me or my phone.
