...and he wrote the freakin federalist papers. Some of them. His motivation was to create a national bank and the existing central government, though weaker than he wanted, was the only way to do it.

He was one of the authors. And wasn't he also an advocate of making George Washington a King? There's no doubt whatsoever that Hamilton was our most aristocratic minded founder.
